We Bytesor are Ed-Tech Startup working on Interactive learning platform for K-12 students with a vision to bring new ways to learn and all in one place.
What personal data we collect and why we collect it
comments:
When visitors leave comments on the site we collect the data shown in the comments form, and also the visitor’s IP address and browser user agent string to help spam detection.
An anonymized string created from your email address (also called a hash) may be provided to the Gravatar service to see if you are using it. The Gravatar service privacy policy is available here: https://automattic.com/privacy/. After approval of your comment, your profile picture is visible to the public in the context of your comment.
Media
If you upload images to the website, you should avoid uploading images with embedded location data (EXIF GPS) included. Visitors to the website can download and extract any location data from images on the website.
Forms
The data collected in the forms are stored by us on our server only for internal operational purposes and will not be shared or traded with any third party. The technical team who have involved in the building of form plugins may have access to the forms module for technical troubleshooting.

Who we share your data with
We have Integrated our learning management system with a third-party who provides us learning content and user registration details and course subscription details will be shared with the third party for authentication and subscription tracking purposes.
How long we retain your data
If you register on our platform and leave a comment, the comment and its metadata are retained indefinitely. This is so we can recognize and approve any follow-up comments automatically instead of holding them in a moderation queue.
For users that register on our website (if any), we also store the personal information they provide in their user profile. All users can see, edit anytime but not delete their account. To delete the account users should send an email or notify us via our chat support and we will delete it. We have this mechanism to avoid irrelevant audience causing damage to the platform and users. Website administrators always can see and edit the information.
What rights you have over your data
If you have an account on this site or have left comments, you can request to receive an exported file of the personal data we hold about you, including any data you have provided to us. You can also request that we erase any personal data we hold about you. This does not include any data we are obliged to keep for administrative, legal, or security purposes.

skill.bytesor.com provides an online learning platform for students of age up to 14 years, where students can enroll skill courses with online live classes and access various other integrated learning tools.
- By accessing or using the website, Application or Services or by downloading or posting any content from or on the Site, via the Applications, you would be indicating that you have read, and that you understand and agree to be bound by these terms and receive our Services (“ Terms of Services” or “Terms”), whether or not you have registered with the Site and/or Application.
- Therefore, please read these Terms of service before accessing or using the Website, Platform or Services or downloading or posting any content from or on the Site, via the Application or through the Services, carefully as they contain important information regarding your legal rights, remedies and obligations.
- If you do not agree to these Terms, then you have no right to access or use the Website, Application, Services, or Content (as defined below).
- If you are using the Site, Application or Services then these Terms of Service are binding between you and Company (as defined below).

- “Issues” Mistakes in learning content, glitches, bugs, website slowness, website performance, vulnerability.
Who is the owner of the course and its learning content? And who is responsible for any issues with the learning content or information in the course?
Bytesor is a platform that bridges Instructors and Students, where Instructors will be the complete owner of the course and the learning contents in the course. The learning contents in self-study courses are not created by the company and will not take any form of responsibility for the learning contents in any type of the course. The contents in self-study courses and other learning tools in the Bytesor platform are created by respective organizations and are also available in their own platforms. In Bytesor platform we have integrated the contents and learning tools created by the respective authors and owners and giving as a one platform to the students to make their life easier.
What kind of issues will be addressed by the company and how? And how a parent or student report any issue?
Students or Parents can report us any issues related to the learning content, quiz, website performance, glitches or bugs, vulnerability and any inconvenience in the platform via chat (available in the website home page), or email (interact@bytesor.com) or calling support number. We will investigate the issue and depending on the source of the issue we will report it to the respective content partner or if the issue is in Bytesor platform, we will take the necessary actions to fix it in future updates. However, we do not promise any fix or timelines to fix the issue since our platform is vast and integration of various tools.
Refund Policy:
The cost of the course or subscription will be clearly mentioned in the website. We will not process any form of refund under any circumstances. However, in case of any issue after processing the payment such as payment processed but course not available, or amount deducted but not reflecting in the portal, students or parents can report the issue to us via chat (available in the website home page), or email (interact@bytesor.com) or calling support number and we will investigate the issue and if the claim is legitimate, we will process the refund. The decision on refund will be solely company’s decision and the company’s decision will be final.
Non-liability clause: Other than as expressly stated in this agreement or as required by law, the service is provided “as is” and the company does not make any specific commitment about the service. The company is a service provider and it would not be liable for the third-party content published on the website. In cases of any issues with the content, we would assess the content and take action if the content is misappropriated, false or misleading. We would not be liable for any errors, mistakes, or inaccuracies in the service.
